S.A.M KAZI, in full Sayed Abdul Gafur Mohammad Kazi (born June 13, 1922, Kolhapur, Maharashtra State, India), where he had his art education in Dalvi's Art Institute. Deeply obsessed with Nature and its numerous miracles / marvels on earth, he decided to give vent to his visual perceptions regarding this unique treasure of the Paradise / heaven on Earth at several strategic locations like Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Konkan, Raigadh, Alibagh, vicinity of Kolhapur and many more. His wanderlust and keen desire to put this panoramic and scenic beauty on canvas / paper naturally had the impact on the sensitive mind leading to his visits to several places.

Salient features of his works are as under :

• Waterfalls, various mountains, their mystic snow clad effects of mist on them, snow, rainfalls, beauty of nature in different seasons and arenas, different flowers and petals, etc. prominently appeared in his work.
• Flow of rivers in rhythm, sea shores / beaches, vivid boats ready for journey, social life of rural and urban folk there etc various traditions and cultural heritage, festivals celebrations etc often found prominent place in his innovative endeavours.
• Tall tress of Chinar, Deodar, Suru in Kashmir, picturesque scenic panorama at Dal lake, Nishat and Shalimar Gardens there Pahalgaum and several beautiful arenas in Kashmir, nascent beauty of various flowers, petals, fruits and other marvels of nature such as mystic hues of sunrise / sunset, brightness / light and shade effects reflection / pseudo effects of illusion etc always occupied an important and significant place in his work that amazed and mesmerized one and all due to their well knit composition, colourful hues of tonal rhythm and harmony as well as picturesqueness.
• His shows were often visited and applauded by consulate generals of Iran, Afghanisthan, Turkistan, UK, Africa, Saudi Arabaia, Gulf Countries and many dignitaries as well as Govt representative who appreciated subtle nuances of the picturesque paradise of nature in his unique visual language of expressions.
• His demonstration and participations in several art camps/ activities also received overwhelming response from art lovers / patrons, art collectors as well as common viewers. This show has been specially organized by his son Nadeem Kazi (G.D.I.D.D., A.I.I.D) Renowned interior designer & contractor. He wants to reach different strata of our society and masses through this show to arouse their interest in this unique endeavours that will really lead to the warm accolades from them for revival of old memories of this rare treasure of artwork in the relevant perspectives of visual arts.
